  • British Gas is to conduct an environmental audit of its operations. 4,000 sites will be audited over three years at a cost of £5 million - £1,250 per site. The company's lack of knowledge on methane leakage from its distribution network will also be rectified with a £2 million study. The company published its first environmental report in February which outlined these programmes.
