  • A grant of £56,000 has been awarded to Manchester Airport and Burt Environmental Systems
    to develop technology to deal with airport storm water contaminated with glycol de-icing agents. The grant will cover 50% of project costs, and was made under the Department of Environment's Environmental Technology Innovation Scheme (ETIS).
