Major overhaul of rules on supply of chemicals
Proposals for a comprehensive revision of Britain's regulations on the classification, packaging and labelling of chemicals and the provision of safety data - including, for the first time, environmental information - to users were issued by the Health and Safety Commission (HSC) on 13 July.1 Many of the revised rules are long overdue under EC legislation.
