HMIP wins three more convictions

A graphics materials supplier and another two mineral works have been convicted in the latest three prosecutions brought by HM Inspectorate of Pollution (HMIP).

Responsibility for controlling air pollution from many hundreds of mineral works will soon be transferred to local authorities, but HMIP has been having a last crack at them in the courts.
