  • The UK's first independent carbon reactivation plant for more than a decade is to be built near Chesterfield by suppliers of activated carbon CPL/Miller (Environmental) Ltd. The 5,000 tonne per annum unit, costing several million pounds and due to be operating by the end of 1993, consists of modules which can be devoted to particular clients, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
