Closure but no clean-up for suspect landfill

A co-disposal landfill in Devon which is suspected of having contaminated local groundwaters is to close under an agreement between the operator, Haul-Waste, the National Rivers Authority (NRA) and Devon Waste Regulation Authority (WRA). But there will be no attempt to clean up the groundwater unless the contamination worsens.
