  • In a similar vein, James River Fine Papers has opened a £2.5 million effluent treatment plant at its Guardbridge mill in Fife, Scotland. The mill borders the Eden estuary, a site of special scientific interest, and has been set discharge limits of 60ppm for suspended solids and 40ppm for biological oxygen demand.
