  • A £983,000 research project at Bath University's school of mechanical engineering aims to reduce emissions from passenger cars by improved integrated computer control of the engine and transmission systems. Control systems will be tested on a purpose-built vehicle simulation rig, and the team also wants to set up a facility to measure transient exhaust emissions.
