Chair of the Environment Agency (EA) Emma Howard Boyd told a conference yesterday that it would be better to regulate, invest in green infrastructure and adapt to climate change, rather than panic.

Referring to climate activist Greta Thunberg’s message to world leaders urging them to panic, Howard Boyd said Thunberg was right to challenge people in positions of power but that it would be better to “go to work” to tackle the problem.
