What is the new regime?

The UK government’s new streamlined energy and carbon reporting (SECR) policy will be implemented on 1 April 2019 when the Companies (Directors’ Report) and Limited Liability Partnerships (Energy and Carbon Report) Regulations 2018 come into force. Its purpose is to simplify and bring the energy-efficiency and emission-reduction benefits of carbon and energy reporting to more businesses.
