In little more than a month’s time, the UK is due to leave the EU. With Brexit negotiations going down to the wire, and - at the time of writing - the prospect of a damaging no-deal Brexit still firmly on the table, our environmental policy stands at a crossroads.
Whether the UK exits with some sort of deal, or crashes out without one, the changes Brexit will bring to the UK’s environmental policy will be among the most significant to have taken place since 1978, when the first edition of the ENDS Report was published. Since then, much has changed. Environmental policy continues to evolve, and so too does the work of environmental professionals. The ENDS Report needs to change too.
