Natural England investigates upland blanket bog burns

The nature regulator is investigating cases of potential upland blanket bog burning in areas where landowners have entered into agreements to cease the activity

Natural England stopped accepting new requests to burn upland blanket bog this month but the practice is continuing in spite of commitments to end the practice, according to Friends of the Earth
