Environment Agency targets 30 illegal waste sites in ‘sting’ operation

The Environment Agency (EA) has announced that it will today pay unannounced visits to around 30 illegal waste sites in a series of raids across Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire.

The Environment Agency (EA) has announced that it will today pay unannounced visits to around 30 illegal waste sites in a series of raids across Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire.

In what the agency has dubbed “the biggest sting of its kind”, EA officers will follow up on specific reports from local residents of waste being burned illegally by commercial ventures.
