England, Wales and Northern Ireland is pushing ahead with a separate deposit return scheme to Scotland's, which is further along in the planning process

It looks as though England, Wales and Northern Ireland will finally get a deposit return scheme (DRS) for plastic bottles nearly 40 years since the idea was first proposed in the defeated 1981 Beverage Container Bill.
