Welsh government sets out climate change plans

The Welsh government has today published a collection of 100 policies and proposals aimed at tackling climate change.

The plan sets out how Wales aims to meet its first carbon budget and hopes to achieve its target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 80% by 2050.

While most of the policies have previously been announced, new policies include a review of skill gaps for jobs supporting decarbonisation, and the setting up of a £5m research centre at Cardiff University.
