DEFRA publishes new UK-REACH law following industry criticism

The government has published new amendments to the planned post-Brexit chemicals regulatory regime in response to concerns from the chemicals industry.

Environment secretary Michael Gove only revealed that the revision was being considered in a meeting with MPs yesterday.

The original REACH statutory instrument was heavily criticised during a debate in the Commons in February  and just scraped through the Lords last week.
