ECHA plans to quadruple rate of chemicals checks

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has announced it will check a higher percentage of chemicals registrations under REACH as part of bid to increase compliance with EU law.

In a statement published this week, the agency signalled it will work with the European Commission to quadruple the rate of checks it makes on chemicals dossiers submitted by companies.
