New odour fine - total payout £19,670

Anaerobic digestion company BioConstruct NewEnergy has been fined £8,000 for breaching odour conditions in its environmental permit and £6,000 for unlawfully storing waste at its site in Middlesborough. Costs of £5,500 and a £170 victim surcharge were also applied.
