Summary: One of three statutory instruments amending EU pesticide regulations on plant protection products: transfers legislation making powers on sustainable use of pesticides and amends annexes to 2009 EU regulation to reflect the fact they have already been transposed into domestic legislation. Creating a UK stand-alone pesticides approval regime to enable UK to take decisions on approval and renewal of active substances on the basis of the same criteria used by the EU. Updated to reinstate ommission of clause excluding endocrine disrupting pesticides from approval by regulators.
