New waste fine - total payout £2,755

Devon farmer Stephen Dibble has been fined for spreading 23,500 tonnes of waste soil on his land. Only 1,000 tonnes was allowed under a permit exemption.

Marie Sinead Berry, director of the firm that transported the waste, was ordered to pay £3,620 for her part in the offence.
