Aecom and Mott MacDonald among winners on £80m EA investment programme

The Environment Agency (EA) has appointed six suppliers to its £80m Client Support Framework to help deliver its programme of capital investment and improvement works for flood defence assets.

Seven companies bidded for the framework, which was tendered in two separate lots.

Capita Black and Veatch Consortium, Jeremy Benn Associates and Jacobs UK won contracts under lot 1 - Technical Delivery Support - worth an estimated £27m in total.

Mott MacDonald Ltd won contracts under both lots.

Work in lot 1 will include providing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), environmental clerks of work, flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) as well as research and reservoir engineering services.
