BEIS to invest £143m in green R&D

The government has unveiled plans to invest £142.9m into projects to remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, improve air quality and improve the sustainability of food production.

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) announced the cash today, part of the £496.8m second wave of the Strategic Priorities Fund for the most important research and development goals.
