Small CHP plants let off the hook by revised IPC guide

HM Inspectorate of Pollution (HMIP) has adopted a more flexible approach in its plans to tighten emission standards for gas turbines. Its latest proposals would allow operators of smaller gas turbines of the kind found in many combined heat and power (CHP) plants not to meet tougher new emission limits.
