The reality: Research shows birds of prey are more likely to be illegally persecuted in or near grouse moors, but landowners claim this does not give the full picture

At the end of August the RSPB, in its annual Birdcrime report, called for reform of the “criminal and environmentally damaging practices” carried out by the driven grouse shooting industry.
