1 Net-zero by 2030 

Labour Party conference delegates called for the party’s next manifesto to commit to fully decarbonising the country in just over a decade.

The motion, agreed by an overwhelming show of hands, also committed the party to ban fracking, nationalise the electricity industry, and “skill up the UK workforce to develop, manufacture and manage the greening of the UK”. MORE
