1 Chancellor targets red tape

Both the chancellor of the exchequer and the environment secretary have signalled that a major overhaul to regulation is on the cards after the UK has left the EU. Theresa Villiers said Brexit gave the UK the chance “to take back control of our rules on farming, on animal welfare, on the environment and on fisheries”.
