New waste fine - total payout £54,365

Waste electrical and electronic equipment recycler Northern Compliance has been ordered to pay £50,900 after it missed its collection targets and then failed to pay into the WEEE Compliance Fund as a fallback. It had been liable for around £1.1m.

Director Vincent Eckerman was also told to pay £3,465 in fines, costs and a victim surcharge.
