The first lot covers £360m in non-infrastructure work relating to replacing, refurbishing and installing assets to treat ground and surface water for consumption as well as wastewater.
The second, worth £340m, relates to Thames Water’s water infrastructure, covering programmes to replace and install trunk mains, inspect and maintain aqueducts, bridges and tunnels, and ensure water pressure within the network remains within acceptable limits.
