Legal bid to stop Legoland holiday village next to protected site fails

A request for a judicial review over the proposed development of a holiday village on land home to the largest number of veteran oaks trees in Europe has been dismissed at the High Court, despite the council failing to carry out an appropriate assessment, in breach of the Habitats Directive.
