Sibling waste criminals told to pay £37,000

A brother and sister and their company have been prosecuted for breaching two enforcement notices, permit conditions and instructions to provide information to the Environment Agency about their waste business in East Sussex.

Mark Penfold was fined £1,166.67 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £116, with his sister Rachel being fined £1,133 with a £108 surcharge. Their company Skip-It Containers was fined a further £1,500, with a £150 surcharge and costs of £32,997.
