Particulates responsible for 1 in 19 urban deaths, says new research

Long-term exposure to small particulate matter (PM2.5) is linked to as many as one in 19 deaths in the UK’s largest cities and towns, despite the UK meeting its legal requirements for the air pollutant, a think tank has said.
