UPDATE 5 Coronavirus: The environmental events hit by the outbreak

The coronavirus crisis has led to many environmental events and conferences being cancelled and postponed - including key policy landmarks such as the spending review. Here’s what you need to know.

Spending review

The Treaury’s spending review has fallen victim to the coronavirus outbreak. On 24 March, chancellor Rishi Sunak announced that it would be pushed back. It had been expected between June and the autumn, unveiling a raft of green measures including how major increases in energy efficiency would be funded.

Global Offshore Wind 2020

RenewableUK’s event, scheduled for 16-17 June in Manchester, has been moved to 27-28 October.
