Coronavirus: Cabinet Office in talks with industry over clinical waste capacity

The waste industry has said there is “some spare capacity” to deal with an expected surge in clinical waste as coronavirus spreads across the UK, but there are concerns over whether ageing infrastructure will cope with the heightened demand.
