‘Chaos’: DEFRA to blame for England’s looming water shortages, say MPs

DEFRA, the Environment Agency and Ofwat are collectively to blame for putting parts of England at serious risk of running out of water within 20 years, according to a committee of backbench MPs, adding to a growing body of evidence suggesting water has been mismanaged for decades.
