Natural England faces legal action over bat licences

The nature regulator has been accused of approving ‘unlawful’ changes to a bat survey licence, which local environmentalists claim have endangered a ‘super colony’ of pregnant and protected barbastelle bats living near a controversial road project in Norfolk.
