Waste operator to pay council ‘highest possible legal costs’ over performance issues

Waste management contractor Urbaser Balfour Beatty (UBB) must pay the “highest possible level” of legal costs to Essex County Council, after the firm lost a challenge relating to the performance of a refuse-derived fuel (RDF) manufacturing plant in June.
