£179,000 confiscated from waste criminal

Gloucestershire man Barry Connally, 70, acquired around £1m by operating an unpermitted waste treatment facility from March 2013 to December 2015, partly through avoiding the costs of compliance with his legal obligations. At one point, the site held around 9,000 tonnes of waste, which cost more than £100,000 to clear after his company was dissolved.
