HS2 refutes wildlife crime allegations

Legal outfits Leigh Day and Lawyers for Nature have demanded that the company in charge of High Speed Rail Two (HS2) put an immediate halt to works in Buckinghamshire while reports of rare barbastelle bat populations are investigated. However, the Whitehall-run company alleges that protest camp interference has delayed the completion of its ecology surveys.
