Electronics firm gets small fine for fly-tipping hazardous waste

A Warwickshire electronics business which twice dumped drums of hazardous waste in a lay-by was fined £2,000 by Stratford-on-Avon magistrates on 10 September. The case highlights the low level of fines which some courts are still imposing for serious breaches of environmental legislation.
