‘Shocking’: Shapps gives Stonehenge tunnel green light against Planning Inspectorate advice
Plans for a controversial 3.3km tunnel to run alongside the Stonehenge UNESCO world heritage site have been granted planning permission by the transport secretary Grant Shapps, against the Planning Inspectorate’s (PINS) recommendations.
