‘Cocktail of toxic chemicals’: Firefighters suffer from high cancer rates

More than 4% of serving UK firefighters have been diagnosed with cancer, which a report for the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) blames on exposure to a “cocktail of toxic, irritant and carcinogenic chemicals” produced by fires.
