Boris Johnson’s 68% emissions reduction target ‘only part of the equation’

The UK’s plan to achieve a 68% cut in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, among the most ambitious targets in the world, should drive diplomatic efforts ahead of COP26. But it must be accompanied swiftly by the equally ambitious policies needed to deliver it, say experts and the government’s own auditors.
