We work on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, Garden Cities, large scale employment parks, minerals and mining projects plus retail, housing and health projects. We are keen to speak with you if you have a sustainability or environmental related qualification (at degree level as a minimum, ideally also a Masters), an interest in the built environment and ideally some knowledge of the UK planning system.
The position will provide an opportunity to assist existing team services including the preparation of Sustainability Statements, BREEAM assessments, and carbon footprinting including embodied carbon lifecycle assessment (LCA) using OneClick LCA software for which appropriate training will be provided. Experience with Sustainability Appraisal (SA) would also be helpful.
To succeed in this role you will need a strong team ethic, a desire to learn and willingness to undertake further development. The ideal candidate will be highly numerate and a competent MS Excel user (intermediate level or above) as well as have the ability to write reports. For the right candidate, we are open-minded about the level of the role, which will depend on skills and experience.
