‘Forever chemicals’: Firms pay out $4bn for toxic PFAS liabilities
Chemicals firm Dupont and its spin off company Chemours have agreed to pay out $4bn to settle a dispute over environmental liability relating to the future effects of PFAS contamination, resulting from legacy pollution of the toxic chemical in the US.
