Government presses ahead with controversial Oxford-Cambridge development plans

The government is to publish a ‘generational plan’ next year setting out how it will transform the Oxford-Cambridge Arc into “the UK's fastest growing economic region, creating jobs, driving investment, and protecting and enhancing the environment”.
