‘Organised pollution’: Sewage dumped into England’s waters 400,000 times in 2020

Rapid action is required to turn around the fate of England’s rivers, campaigners have said, after data released by the Environment Agency (EA) revealed that water companies pumped raw sewage into English waters more than 400,000 times last year.
