We are currently recruiting for two posts in our Environment Team based in the heart of the Cotswolds, Cirencester. We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior / Principal Landscape Designer and also a Landscape Planner or Senior Landscape Planner to join us and help maintain our exceptional landscape service that creates sustainable and successful developments for our existing and growing client base. Both are varied roles and will support the Environment Team in delivering our diverse portfolio of landscape design and planning projects. 


Senior / Principal Landscape Designer


We are looking for a Senior / Principal Landscape Designer with ideally 5 or more years’ experience in landscape design projects and CMLI qualified. You will hold a relevant degree and be able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge with a keen eye for graphics and therefore be proficient in software such as: Keyscape, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup. Knowledge of Vectorworks is highly beneficial. We are looking for strong hard and soft landscape design skills with good experience and understanding to meet client needs and expectations. 


The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, as well as being a competent designer with good project management skills and a proven track record of delivering projects on site. You’ll be decisive by nature, proactive and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Landscape Planner or Senior Landscape Planner


We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is either Chartered or keen to work towards CMLI (We can provide support towards development training and chartership). You will be able to demonstrate recent experience of authoring LVIA reports, Landscape Appraisals etc., with limited supervision, including all aspects of LVIA and its application with landscape mitigation measures across a variety of development projects. For example renewable energy, residential and mixed-use, infrastructure, and education, in a variety of settings including brownfield locations, protected landscapes and the Green Belt.  We seek an individual with strong landscape planning skills who can work closely and flexibly with our Graphics and Landscape Design teams who produce GIS plans, photomontages, visualisations, landscape masterplans, detailed planting plans etc.
