Council investigates development's lack of environmental mitigation

A Cumbrian council has confirmed that it is investigating after anglers raised the alarm that a fishing pond has suffered “extensive siltation”, apparently linked to a housing development on which construction works began prior to the submission of a plan to mitigate environmental impacts.
