Queen’s Speech: Government to deliver environmental assessment changes via new Planning Bill

The government has confirmed that its newly-announced Planning Bill will take forward delayed proposals to revise the environmental assessment process, using “post-Brexit freedoms to simplify and enhance the framework for environmental assessments for developments”.
