‘Major ramifications internationally’: Dutch court rules Shell must cut emissions by 45% by 2030

A Dutch court has ruled that energy giant Shell must reduce its emissions, including those of its customers and suppliers, by 45% by 2030, in line with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement, with campaigners claiming the ruling will have "major ramifications internationally".
